Liliana Medina as Lily
Lili is an award winning folklorico dancer who has danced with several professional companies including Grupo Folclórico Texometzintli and Grupo Folklorico de UCLA . She is a member of hereandnow Theatre Company and recently took the stage in the ensemble piece Boba Stories. Better is her featured debut in front of the camera.
Alvaro Orlando as Alex
Alvaro was raised in Miami Beach where he was an amatuer Golden Gloves boxer, mixed martial artist, and professional breakdancer before arriving to Hollywood. After getting his big break on VH1’s hit show, The Pick-Up Artist, Alvaro has been quite sought after, notching over 50 indie films under his belt and booking roles on hit shows like Lie to Me and 90210. He is also the president of Fearless Entertainment and is producing two features.
Luis Rolón as Cande
Luis is an actor, philosopher and philanthropist who lives and loves in L.A. An alumni of the University of Arizona, Luis began his acting career at an early age when he jumped out from behind the couch as El Chapulín Colorado and performed skits to the bemusement of his family. Luis’ career has found him on such shows as Prison Break and on film opposite such greats as Val Kilmer, Michael Biehn, and Sharon Stone.
Ozzie Rodriguez as Rodrigo
Ozzie’s work has been seen on the screen with films such as Ash, The Last Chicana, and My Life: Untitled as well as national campaigns for Dr. Pepper, Coors Light, and AT&T. He has also taken the stage in Miami Vignettes, Parked, and Cloudcuckooland. Ozzie’s skills also include screenwriting and voice-over work.
Jes Meza as Mari
Originally from Tucson, Jes was discovered as a model in Los Angeles and studied with Arthur Mendoza focusing on use of imagination via the Stella Adler technique. Her screen work has included several features like Internet Dating and Seal Team VI. On TV, she’s been seen on Entourage, What About Brian, and Punk’d. She recently took the stage in an all-female reinterpretation of Quentin Tarantino’s Reserviour Dogs in the highly charged Ms. Orange role.
Richard has lived and performed in San Francisco, New York and L.A. He has acted in several indies such as Snapshot and The Midnight Eye. His stage work has included lead roles Evita, Hamlet, and Cole Porter and Friends as well as a number of improv groups such as Los Angeles Theater Sports,The Improvables, and Out Of Your Mind. An accomplished singer, he can also be found performing in cabarets, restaurants, and festivals.
Vanessa Hidalgo as Cecilia
Vanessa’s work in the short film, Culebra earned her a “Best Actress” award in the 2010 Method Film Festival. Her feature film credits include Swirling Heart and The Shifting and her TV work has included CSI: Miami, 24, and Edward James Olmos’ HBO film Walkout. Vanessa’s work extends well beyond the stage and screen as a vegan activist and creator of a children’s entertainment company.
Joe Delano as Officer Radke
Originally from New England, Joe studied and performed in film and theater in New York before heading to Hollywood where he’s since appeared in film, television, and commercials. On stage, he originated the role of Professor Big Thunder in the the play Personality Crisis. He is also related to Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Crystal is a graduate from Loyola Marymount University where she received her degree in theatre arts. In addition to acting, she enjoys stage managing and volunteering at local theatres.
Cinthia Leon as Olverita’s Cashier
Cinthia is a born and raised Angeleno who is also an accomplished singer and dancer. In addition to her formidable entertainment experience, she’s also an advocate for victims of sexual assault and is finishing her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy.
